Great American Beach Party – Celebrate this free event with family and friends in Fort Lauderdale. The event includes live music, water slides, a kids’ zone, a classic car show, an art show, a sand modeling contest, a SOCOM Para-Commandos parachute jump, a military tribute, a Walk of Fame ceremony, vendors, exhibitors and much more, according to the website by reference.

Miami Beach is getting ready to welcome visitors for Memorial Day — Thousands of people are expected to head to Miami’s beaches, hotels and restaurants over the holiday weekend.
Hyundai Air & Sea Show Concert and Fireworks —
The US Army SaluteFest concert will take place at the following times:
1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m
16:15 to 16:45
6:15 p.m. to 10 p.m The concert will feature four musical acts, a country music act, a performance by the U.S. Army Band, an interactive village, a drone show and fireworks, according to the website.
City of Miami Children’s Department — Miami Beach Police officers will conduct a wristband identification program for children of all ages and/or adults with special needs. It’s a free app that gives parents, guardians or caregivers peace of mind. Children and adults with special needs will receive a free identification bracelet with their name, guardian’s name and contact information, according to the website.

Memorial Day at Miami Beach Police Headquarters — On Monday, the City of Miami Beach is partnering with the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars 3559 Miami Beach Post to host a wreath-laying ceremony and 21-gun salute.
When: 10 am
Where: The Cenotaph War Memorial in front of the Miami Beach Police Department.
Civic center of the city of Tamarak — The program WILL include a presentation of the colors led by the Tamarac Fire and Rescue Honor Guard…AND a wreath laying ceremony.
When: 10:30 am

Coral Springs Memorial Day Ceremony — The event will include the presentation of colors and a wreath laying by the Coral Springs Parkland Fire Department Honor Guard. Memorial bricks will also be available for purchase and engraved in honor of a local veteran. The bricks will cost $50 and will be permanently placed at Veterans Park.
The City of Davie, Boy Scouts of America, will host the parade — The City of Davie and the Boy Scouts of America will host their annual Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony.
When: 10:30 am
The parade route will begin at the Davie Fire Administration Building and end at the Rodeo Grounds.
The start of the ceremony is expected at 11.00
Lauderdale Memorial Park Cemetery – This event includes the Opening Hymn, National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Speeches, Parade, Honoring Veterans, Armed Forces Salute, Boat Launch, Veterans Wreath, Dove Release, Closing Prayer, Police Pipe and Drum Corps, the Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s gun salute honor guard, according to the website.
